Beautifully bred for trialling, Gidget came to Terraway from Mark & Wendy Davis' kennels after I tragically lost my homebred boy Jock.
She is incredibly focussed on retrieving, will swim all day if possible and has been officially voted "the happiest dog in the world" (ranked without bias by my niece Paige - thanks Paigey!) She has a tail that almost literally never stops wagging!
Gidget's crazy antics make her a constant source of amusement. Like most labs from working lines though, she can just as suddenly turn it on when training dummies come out. She is supremely driven and wonderful to train notching up three novice wins in short order before I decided on my change of tack. Well on the way with her Restricted training, she is still wonderful to work to this day and I could easily pick up where I left off if I chose to.
She is a most loving and wonderful companion - apart from her licking fetish (sorry Gidg, I know I promised I wouldn't tell but I just couldn't help myself!)
